MSU Releases CB Ezra Robinson From Scholarship

After the departure of All American Darqueze Dennard, Ezra Robinson was expected to replace him at the cornerback position. Ezra will be finishing his collegiate career somewhere other than East Lansing for undisclosed reasons. Ezra had a history of getting in trouble as a student athlete after getting a DUI in the summer of 13’ which probably led to his release from the team.

Ezra, from Sarasota Florida was a 3-star recruit ranked as the 52nd best CB in the nation out of all class of 12’ recruits. Robinson looked to be a promising replacement after playing in 12 games last year as a redshirt freshman. Holding offers from schools such as UNC, Boston College and West Virginia, Ezra might be able to find himself on another BCS roster if he decides to sit out another year.
