Two Vanderbilt BB Players Will Transfer

Vanderbilt will be without two of the team’s top guards as both Kedren Johnson and Dai-Jon Parker will transfer.  Head coach Kevin Stallings said in a statement last night that the duo are not allowed to rejoin the team because school standards were not met.

The reason for the late decision is that Stallings had promised the two players to hold off on the announcement until both had officially decided to transfer from the school.

Johnson missed all of last season due to a violation of university policy, but had averaged eight points and 2.7 assists per game over two seasons.  On the other hand, Parker was a contributing player off the bench that allowed the Commodores to finish 15-16.  He recorded 5.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest during his three year career.
