Draymond Green reps Michigan St. at Finals media session

It is not too uncommon to see professional athletes representing their alma maters during press conferences or media sessions at big championship events. Golden State Warrior and former Michigan State Spartan Draymond Green is certainly no different.

According to College Spun, the former Spartan forward was seen wearing a Michigan State hoodie during a media session at Oracle Arena, the site of tonight’s NBA Finals Game One. Green will likely be tasked with guarding Lebron James throughout the series, so I’m sure he will need the power of the King Leonidas and the 300 if he wants to bring home a championship to the Bay Area.

For a guy that carries the task of guarding one of the best players in the world tonight, he sure does seem calm. Maybe that’s because he knows he not only has the blue and yellow backing him, but he has the might of Sparty and the green and white. I’m sure that Michigan State fans will be cheering him on all the way from East Lansing.
