Ohio State now has number one 2016 recruiting class

The Ohio State Buckeyes now have a little more to celebrate about. The team just landed a commitment from Nick Bosa, the younger brother of touted defensive end Joey Bosa. This now puts the team at the top of the list for recruiting classes in 2016.

College Spun shared the 247 Sports rankings and they show that the Buckeyes took over the top spot from LSU. The team was ranked third before Bosa’s commitment on Thursday.

Bosa is the team’s first five-star commit for their 2016 class and he gives them a total of eighteen commitments for next season. They currently have more four-star commitments than any of the top ten with fourteen.

Florida State still leads the top ten with three five-star commitments, while the Tigers have two. The 2016 season is shaping up to be a great one with so much talent already committed to schools.

Ohio State plans to keep their top spot for a long time.
