Photos: New Colorado facility includes biergarten, barbershop

The Colorado Buffaloes football team has already unveiled some fancy new uniforms for the upcoming college football season and now a sneak peek at the team facility shows that some very nice, updated facilities will be making their debut, too.

One reddit user shared a photo album from their tour of the new facilities before they were opened.

Colorado players will likely fall in love with their new locker room. Each player’s locker will come with a lock code and iPad hookup. The iPad hookup can be used for the playbook. Individuals will also have their names and numbers above their lockers, along with a brief bio.

Players will also be treated to an impressive lounge that will feature a barbershop, six tvs with PS4s and Xbox ones hooked up. Between the locker room and player lounge will be display areas with old Colorado rings donated from former players and a hall that features Buffaloes standouts that have gone on to play in the NFL.

As for the actual stadium, fans should be excited to know that there will be a biergarten.

There will be “a top floor open deck meant for entertaining and will become a beirgarten during gameday.” So good on those Buffaloes fans who are looking for some delicious beer and local grub. It’s a unique twist that will help the new facility stand apart from others across the nation.

The last of the new facilities to be completed will be the indoor practice field — which will feature an 80 foot high ceiling to accommodate special teams. The indoor field is expected to be completed in January of 2016.
