Secret beer can message says Tom Brady ‘Sux’

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady catches more heat for his alleged role in Deflategate. This time it’s from a beer can.

Indy Star sports writer Zak Keefer tweeted a picture of a beer can with the message “TOM BRADY SUX” printed into the expiration date.

The picture received mixed responses. One person tweeted “THAT is a brand with purpose. Love it.” An obvious Pats fan wrote “I don’t drink that crap anyway, SAM ADAMS, YEA BRADY”

The secret message was found on the bottom of Sun King Brewing’s Wee Mac Scottish-style Ale. According to its website, Sun King Brewing Company is “an Indianapolis-based craft brewery with a focus on continually creating traditional seasonal and unique specialty beers”

The company has not publicly addressed the expiration date message. However the brewery’s Vice President Steve Koers tweeted “I’m pretty sure this will be a topic in our meeting tomorrow”

The NFL placed Brady on a four-game suspension despite his denials that he ever asked for someone to deflate footballs before games.  Brady also allegedly destroyed his phone during the league’s investigation. The players union is in the process of appealing the decision in court.
