Marquette’s Wally Ellenson has a dunk for the ages

Marquette wing Wally Ellenson transferred to the Golden Eagles after seeing limited playing time at Minnesota, and a video of him dunking during an exhibition game in Italy is more than enough reason to give him extended minutes in the future.

This dunk was so epic that the broadcaster appeared to bang his knee on his desk as it happened, as the audio from the video below will suggest.

Suddenly, it’s no surprise at all that Ellenson is also an Olympic hopeful in the high jump. Just how many minutes he’ll garner this season remains to be seen but with dunking abilities like that, head coach Steve Wojciechowski will have a hard time justifying Ellenson on the bench.
