Al Golden sent Duke Johnson new Adidas Miami gear

Duke Johnson left the Miami Hurricanes last season and he is now a member of the Cleveland Browns. Another thing that left the Hurricanes this offseason was Nike as the team decided to switch over the Adidas for the 2015 season.

While Johnson won’t be wearing Miami gear on the field this season, head coach Al Golden wanted to make sure that he had all the updated gear to represent his former team in the Midwest. College Spun shared a photo of the new gear Johnson received from his former head coach on Monday afternoon.

With the pretty cool care package, Golden’s gesture was seen as one similar to the goodies a mom would send her son while he’s off at college. It’s nice to see that Golden still cares about his former players, even when they have moved on to bigger and better things.

I’m sure Johnson will wear the new gear with loads of pride.
