UFC to hold ‘#GOBIG’ event with Rousey, McGregor, others

Over the next few months, the Ultimate Fighting Championship has an incredible lineup of fights and events. In order to kick off the final quarter of the year, the promotion has decided to hold a press conference as they have done previously this year to feature some of the top stars and headliners.

Previous campaigns have included “#TheTimeIsNow” and “#WelcomeToTheShow.”

On Tuesday, the UFC announced that their latest campaign will be dubbed, “#GOBIG.” The kickoff press conference will be held Sept. 4 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 4 p.m. ET.

Attending the press conference will be champions Ronda Rousey, Daniel Cormier, Conor McGregor, Robbie Lawler, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rafael dos Anjos. Many of the top contenders will also be present.

The full event of the “#GOBIG”season includes:

  • “UFC Fight Night 75: Barnett vs. Nelson,” Sept. 26
  • “UFC 192: Cormier vs. Gustafsson,” Oct. 3
  • “UFC Fight Night 76: Poirier vs. Duffy,” Oct. 24
  • “UFC Fight Night 77, Henderson vs. Belfort,” Nov. 7
  • “UFC 193: Lawler vs. Condit,” Nov. 15
  • “UFC Fight Night 78: Brown vs. Gastelum,” Nov. 21
  • “UFC Fight Night 79: Henderson vs. Alves,” Nov. 28
  • The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale, Dec. 11
  • “UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor,” Dec. 12
  • “UFC on FOX 17: dos Anjos vs. Cerrone,” Dec. 19
  • “UFC 195: Rousey vs. Holm,” Jan. 2
