Western Kentucky QB arrested on two separate charges

It doesn’t seem like there is ever a dull moment when it comes to legal trouble in the world of college football. A class of 2015 walk-on at Western Kentucky was arrested on two different charges over the weekend.

According to College Football Talk, walk-on quarterback with the Hilltoppers Reese Ryan was arrested on charges of public intoxication and possessing an expired or fake license. The Bowling Green Daily News first reported news of the arrest late Saturday evening.

Currently, no details about what led to Ryan’s arrest have been given.

“We are aware of the incident, and Reese will face additional discipline within the program,” a WKU spokesperson told the Daily News in a statement.

Ryan was a two-star quarterback recruit out of Lexington, Kentucky and was awaiting a possible scholarship from the Hilltoppers. It doesn’t seem like that is coming anytime soon now.
