On Sunday, there were reports that Auburn freshman defensive end Byron Cowart had vented his frustrations with the team and their practices via Twitter. He said that he didn’t ask to be known as a flashy player and that he was trying his best to help the team. Cowart certainly has a lot to live up to especially since he was ranked as the number one player on the ESPN 300.

According to College Spun, Tigers’ head coach Gus Malzahn talked about Cowart and his venting on Tuesday evening. He said that Cowart is going to be a big part of their team this season and in the future.
Gus on Byron Cowart's tweets: "He's a young guy. He's going to be fine. He's going to be a real good player for us."

Malzahn’s reassurance of Cowart’s status with the team should make Auburn fans feel just fine about his future with the Tigers. Cowart’s career at Auburn has started off pretty rocky, but it seems now that he will be just fine when it comes to his playing time with the team.
