Auburn manager uses play call cards to propose

There hasn’t been much to celebrate in Auburn this year, especially after the Tigers lost their second straight game Saturday to Ole Miss, bringing their record to 4-4 on the season.

But Auburn student manager Clint Crumpton did not let the Tigers struggles get in the way of his own happiness, as he proposed to his fiancée Emma Miller on the field of Jordan-Hare Stadium before the Tigers game using play calling cards– a staple in the Tigers fast paced offense.

ESPN tweeted a picture of the couple, and the play cards which featured the two with a ring and a question mark, capturing the proposal and the moment Miller saw the equipment managers clever proposition.

As much as Crumpton and Miller, and the entire Auburn family, would have loved to see a Tigers pull out a victory against the Rebels, a consolation award for the best SEC proposal of the season is certainly something worth celebrating.

Miller said yes to Crumpton’s proposal, and according to reports the couple is to wed next summer.
