Pickle delayed last night’s Bucks-Nets game

The Milwaukee Bucks took on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center last night, and the game was delayed for the most bizarre reason. At some point in the fourth quarter, a PICKLE was found on the court. That’s right, a delicious salty snack that can be enjoyed either by itself or on a sandwich was found on the hardwood. How it got there is anyone’s guess.

Video of the delay was posted to Twitter by NBA TV’s Lang Whitaker.

There are many theories as to how this could have happened. A drunk fan could have thrown the pickle onto the court for ha-has. It could have just been an accident. Knowing Brooklyn, some hipster could have tossed it onto the court as a way of protesting police brutality.

Either way, it gave us a chuckle but also reinforced one key message.

A good pickle is nothing to waste!
