Larry Fedora ‘strong candidate’ for VT job

The North Carolina Tar Heels face off with the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday and they can clinch the ACC Coastal division with a win. However, it seems as though the Hokies will be the real winners in this whole ordeal.

According to FootballScoop.com, North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora is one of the leading candidates to take over the Virginia Tech head coaching position at the end of the year.

Athletic Director Whit Babcock seems to be wanting to take his team in a completely different direction.

The report read, “sources tell FootballScoop that Whit Babcock considers Larry Fedora a strong candidate at Virginia Tech. We are also of the understanding that Rich Rodriguez will not be a candidate for this position.”

For years, Frank Beamer was known as one of the greatest defensive minds in the country.

If Fedora, a heavily offensive-minded coach, takes of the job, the Hokies could be getting a huge facelift in terms of what their team looks like.
