Clemson having purple out on Military Appreciation Day

The Clemson Tigers are the number one team in the country right now and have deserved every bit of praise they have gotten this year. Seeing how good they are, they are allowed to take a few risks when it comes to what they wear on the field.

It’s not very often that the Tigers wear purple on the field, but it looks like they will this week. They host Wake Forest for Military Appreciation Day and they announced that they will have a purple out on Twitter.

Now, this doesn’t mean the team will actually be wearing purple. It could just be something for the fans to show unity in the stands, but I am sure many of the fans want to see them actually don the royal color on the field.

The Tigers and Demon Deacons take the field at 3:30 and it will be televised on ESPN2.
