Missouri freshman DT Terry Beckner has torn ACL and MCL

The Missouri Tigers have experienced a ton of hardship this season. From the team almost having to forfeit a game due to a student strike on campus to head coach Gary Pinkel announcing his resignation at the end of the year due to health issues, the team has had a lot of trouble in 2015.

Now, it seems like the Tigers have just experienced another bit of bad luck.

It was announced on Friday morning that star defensive tackle Terry Beckner has a torn ACL and MCL and will miss the rest of the season.

There has been no word on if the injury happened in practice, but that seems to be the case. Beckner was five-star member of the Tigers’ 2015 recruiting class.

The injury will take some time to heal, but there has been no timetable given. The injury may affect Beckner’s 2016 season going forward.
