South Florida to play in Miami Beach Bowl

There are now six teams in the FBS to accept bowl bids. The South Florida Bulls have turned their season around and were one Temple loss away from playing for the AAC Championship this season.

The team will make their first bowl game since 2010 this year.

According to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, the Bulls will be staying close to home as they will play in the Miami Beach Bowl.

Willie Taggart has done a good job turning this team around and I’m sure they will be excited to be playing in a bowl game so close to campus. Them playing against Western Kentucky would certainly be an interesting matchup as well.

The game is scheduled for Monday, December 21 and will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. EST.
