Class of 2016 three-star defensive back Brandon Drayton, out of the Tampa area’s Largo High School, has de-committed from Nebraska. Drayton announced his decision on Twitter.
Just how much Nebraska’s 5-7 inaugural season under Mike Riley had to do with Drayton’s decision is unknown, but it should be noted that Nebraska has some competition for the highly-touted safety’s services. On top of the Cornhuskers, Drayton has offers in hand from Louisville, Indiana, Purdue, Miami and Syracuse, among many others.
Nebraska is still very much in the mix, but Campus Sports will update Drayton’s recruitment as any new information becomes available.
