Andre Johnson once again treats kids to huge shopping spree

Since 2007, former Houston Texans and current Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Andre Johnson has taken kids out to Toys R Us and ensured that they had a happy holiday.

Johnson usually spares no expense in these shopping sprees and this year was no different.

He worked with the Houston Police Department to take nearly a dozen children on a big shopping spree that totaled more than $18,000. The wideout obviously covered the bill to make sure the kids had a great Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who helped from the HPD and the kids that participated .

He may now be playing for the team’s biggest rival, but it looks like the people of Houston still have a reason to love Andre Johnson.
