Here is the 2015 AFCA Division III Coaches All-American Team

It’s not very often that you get the chance to hear about the smaller football-playing schools across the country, but near the end of the season is when everyone gets recognized. The Division III football season is wrapping up with the national championship game to be played next week.

The American Football Coaches Association released its All-American team for Division III on Monday and it was filled with talent. The AFCA has had an All-American team since 1945 and this year’s team is headlined by Carnegie Mellon running back Sam Benger and Linfield defensive lineman Alex Hoff.

Mellon led the country in rushing with 2,092 yards and 22 touchdowns, both school records. Hoff had a great year as well, recording 12.5 sacks and being named the Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
