Marcus Lattimore takes flood victims on a shopping spree

Many South Carolina residents are still recovering from the devastating floods that occurred last October, and former University of South Carolina star Marcus Lattimore is doing what he can to help those to get back on their feet.

Through his foundation Lattimore was able to give 25 kids from one of the areas hit hardest, Georgetown County, a Wal-Mart gift card and a pair of Under Armour shoes.

Lattimore had this to say about the impact he is able to make on the community:

“It’s still amazing to me, the impact that I do have. It’s something that I don’t take lightly at all. I don’t take it for granted, and every opportunity I have to meet a kid that looks up to me in any kind of way, I’m going to take that opportunity because I know it’s going to help them.”
