Robert Nkemdiche charged with marijuana possession after hotel fall

On Sunday, it was reported that Ole Miss defensive end Robert Nkemdiche had fallen out of a hotel window in Atlanta. He only suffered minor injuries, but it was still a scary situation for him and the Rebels.

It looks the Rebels have something else to deal with now it was reported that Nkemdiche was charged with marijuana possession following inspection of his room, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Atlanta police said “approximately seven rolled marijuana cigarettes” were found in his room following the incident.

The initial report stated that Nkemdiche broke out of a hotel window and walked a short distance before “climbed over a wall and fell approximately 15 feet.” There have been no arrests made in this situation.

The Rebels play the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Sugar Bowl on January 1 at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
