#FlashbackFriday: Watch former UGA WR Chris Conley’s Star Wars fan film

Thursday night, one of the most anticipated movies of the year finally arrived as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” hit theaters. Fans of the franchise were out in full force, pun not intended, for the film and it is expected to be the highest grossing opening weekend for a film of all time.

A lot of people are busy with family events at this time of year, so many won’t be able to see the film until after the holidays. So, in honor of Flashback Friday, if you are itching to get your Star Wars fix, you should check out this fan film made by former Georgia and current Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Chris Conley.

It was set in Athens, on the University of Georgia campus, otherwise known as the Classic City. It was really well done and you certainly wouldn’t be disappointed in the film, especially with Conley’s acting as the main villain, Khari Vion.

But hey, maybe you are a Star Wars purist and you would rather see Harrison Ford in the film.

I can’t say for you, so all you have to do is check it out!
