Noel Mazzone returns to UCLA practice after health scare

The UCLA Bruins got a pretty big scare earlier this week as offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone was hospitalized in intensive care after developing blood clots in his lungs. Luckily, all it was for Mazzone was a big health scare and he seems okay now.

According to College Football Talk, Mazzone returned to the Bruins’ practice on Thursday. The school had originally stated that he was in the hospital and “resting comfortably” and that he would return to practice as soon as possible.

There is no word on if Mazzone will be available for the team’s bowl game on December 26. The Bruins play the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Foster Farms Bowl a week from Saturday.
