Georgia Southern introduces new HC, says triple option will stay

The Georgia Southern Eagles introduced new head coach Tyson Summers to a large crowd in Statesboro on Saturday. The biggest concern many fans had was that Summers would come in with a ton of changes for the Eagles’ team.

It certainly doesn’t seem as if Summers will be making any big changes especially with the offense. The triple option has been a staple in Statesboro for years and it looks like it will continue to be so for the immediate future.

According to Underdog Dynasty, Summers talked about keeping the prolific offense around for the future. This season, the Eagles were the top rushing offense in the country and they proved that even more in the GoDaddy Bowl as they rushed for 452 yards against Bowling Green in a 58-27 win.

The Eagles have had a great couple of seasons in the FBS and it looks like Summers hopes to have a few more.
