Washington RB Dwayne Washington declares for NFL Draft

The Washington Huskies ended the season in a great way as they won their last three games and dominated Southern Miss in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on Saturday. Following the game, the Huskies learned they would be losing a running back to the NFL next year.

Many Huskies fans were surprised to hear that Dwayne Washington would be entering the 2016 NFL Draft.

During three years at Washington, Washington rushed for 1,311 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also caught 41 passes for 411 yards and four touchdowns, three this season.

He wasn’t the most athletic player for the Huskies this season, but he will certainly be missed in 2016.
