Kenny Goins out 2-4 weeks for Spartans

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo announced Tuesday that forward Kenny Goins will be out of the lineup for 2-4 weeks due to an injured left knee. Goins suffered the injury in the first half of Sunday’s game against Indiana.

The 6-foot-6 rdshirt freshman was forced to leave the game.

With the Spartans currently ranked No. 8, it’s possible they could be without him for the rest of the regular season.

Goins is averaging 10-plus minutes as a reserve, scoring two points and grabbing three rebounds a game. He has played in 25 of 26 games for Michigan State this season.
