Report: Dak Prescott met with Seahawks, Steelers at Combine

Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott is one of the best quarterbacks that not too many people are talking about in the 2016 NFL Draft. Right now, Prescott is being considered a Russell Wilson-type player and that could factor into where he is selected in April.

He talked about the interviews he had with teams at the NFL Combine last week. Prescott said that he met only with the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that is just a small number of teams he has already spoken with.

I met with the Texans’ whole staff and the Bears’ whole staff at the Senior Bowl, and I met with almost every quarterback coach at the combine who I hadn’t already met. I think the Chargers are the only team I haven’t talked to anyone from so far,” Prescott said.

It certainly looks like there are a good number of teams that would love to bring in Prescott to either provide depth at the quarterback position or even sit behind their guy for a few years before moving into the starting role.

He has been one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the country for the last few years and right now, nothing should come as a surprise to where he ends up.
