Tyler Higbee arrested, hit with multiple charges

Former Western Kentucky tight end Tyler Higbee was looking to be one of the first players at that position taken in the 2016 NFL Draft. However, it looks like he is going to be hurting to even get selected after getting arrested late Saturday night.

According to the Bowling Green Daily News, he was arrested at nearly 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning and charged with charged with second-degree assault, alcohol intoxication in a public place and second-degree fleeing or evading police. He was booked at Warren County Regional and is being held on $10,000 bond as of Sunday afternoon.

Tyler Higbee is currently rehabbing a knee injury as he looks to be picked up at some point in the NFL Draft. He is looked at as one of the best tight ends available, but this is surely to hurt his draft stock.

During the 2015 season, he racked up 583 yards and eight touchdowns. Those stats, however, might not make up for this incident.

What do you think, fans? Is is this a death shot for Higbee’s chances at the NFL?
