Alabama’s Bo Davis to leave program

Bo Davis has left the Crimson Tide before, and he’ll be leaving again. The coach was expected to be with Nick Saban’s team through the 2017 season, but that appears to have drastically changed at this point.

Per TideSports.com’s Andrew Bone and Aaron Suttles, the defensive line coach has recently been the subject of an ongoing internal investigation by the University of Alabama. He will be exiting the program due to allegations of violation of recruiting tactics.

The details of just what recruiting tactics Davis violated currently remain unknown, though we can logically expect this information to surface in the near future.

Davis originally joined the Tide’s coaching staff in 2007, and left for an opportunity in Texas in the year of 2010. He then returned to Alabama in 2014. It’s likely that he won’t be returning to Tuscaloosa after this departure, though.
