Jourdan Lewis jokes about Lions drafting Ohio State player

The Detroit Lions selected Ohio State offensive tackle Taylor Decker with their first round pick Thursday night. Usually, when a player moves from the college ranks to the NFL, you would expect old rivalries to die.

When it comes to Michigan defensive back Jourdan Lewis, he isn’t letting this one go.

Lewis took to Twitter and joked about the Lions, his in-state team, taking Decker. If you didn’t know, the Buckeyes and Wolverines have a pretty big rivalry in the Midwest, so there should be no surprise that Lewis was offended by his favorite team taking a big rivalry.

I am sure many fans took offense to Lewis’s comments, so he made sure to follow that tweet up with another saying that he believes Taylor Decker is a great player and that he was just having fun.

Decker was one of five former Buckeyes selected in the first round Thursday night. I am sure there aren’t too many Buckeye fans who are upset about Lewis making this joke.
