NFL Draft 2016: Samford CB James Bradberry could be Day 2 surprise

There were a number of surprises in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft and it looks like the NFL could be in for some more on the second day of the draft process. One of those surprises could be Samford cornerback James Bradberry.

Walter Football’s Tony Pauline listed a handful of surprises that could happen on Day 2. He reported that some teams are interested in Bradberry in the second round.

The surprise pick in Day 2 could be Samford cornerback James Bradberry,” Pauline wrote. “Rated by most as a middle-round selection, I’m told several teams are considering Bradberry in the second round.”

During his four years at Samford, Bradberry intercepted eight passes, recorded 128 tackles, and broke up 27 passes. He isn’t the best cornerback around, but he has sure gained a ton of hype and could be one of the biggest surprises of the day.
