Conference USA announced a new television deal on Tuesday that will create greater exposure for the conference’s student-athletes. The television deal spans across four networks.
ESPN will air five Conference USA games during the 2016 college football season, CBS Sports Network will air five, the American Sports Network is expected to air 15-20 games and beIN Sports will air ten.
The network announced the new deal with Conference USA, which will expand beyond football.
Per the release, beIN Sports will also air 10 men’s basketball games, 10 women’s basketball games, 12 baseball games, 12 softball games, 10 men’s soccer matches, 10 women’s soccer matches and 10 volleyball matches” involving schools in the conference.
“We are very excited about the potential of this partnership with beIN SPORTS,” C-USA commissioner Judy MacLeod said in a release. “We are impressed with their quality production and the rapid growth of the network, and we are honored to be their first collegiate conference to build relationships among the fans of our sports.”
This is a great step forward for beIN Sports, Conference USA and all of the athletes involved as the conference looks to put more eyes on its athletes.
