Five-star SF Michael Porter Jr. releases top five schools

Five-star small forward Michael Porter Jr. is one of the best players in the 2017 class and he is getting pretty close to making his decision. He announced Monday night that he has cut down his decision to five schools.

His list is pretty star-studded as it includes top programs Indiana and Virginia as well as Oklahoma, Missouri and Washington. He has a pretty big decision to make over the next year.

Duke, Kansas and Kentucky were all candidates at one point, but Porter seems to see the the writing on the wall with those programs. The Huskies could seem like a good fit for him at this point as his younger brother, Jontay Portay, has committed to Washington for the 2018 class.

Michael Porter Jr.’s father has also recently taken an assistant coaching position under Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar.
