Report: Johnny Manziel blew off friends’ attempt at intervention

For anyone who has been following the sports and gossip headlines, it is hard to ignore the troubling downward spiral former Texas A&M star Johnny Manziel is currently in.

Manziel’s actions off the field have led to him all but burning every bridge for a potential return to the NFL, while agents and other business acquaintances have been dropping him like a fly until he gets his act together.

Unfortunately, Johnny Manziel doesn’t seem interested in looking for or receiving help.

In a recent report from TMZ Sports that cited friends close to Manziel, there is obvious concern from his inner circle. One friend even says Manziel rejected their intervention regarding his substance abuse.

“He flipped out and would not hear it,” the source said.

One friend went on to echo the troubling events everyone has been seeing play out in the public eye.

“He’s in a horrible downward spiral,” the source added.

It is a very concerning situation. Manziel’s own father has said in the past he believes his son is on a quick path to death if he does not get help. Johnny Manziel’s friends seem to have similar concerns, so let’s hope someone can breakthrough to him before this sad story has a tragic ending.
