Robert Kraft on Tom Brady’s suspension appeal: ‘We hope he prevails’

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady decided to appeal his four-game suspension stemming from the Deflategate scandal — which was reinstated earlier this year — yet again.

As you would expect, team owner Robert Kraft is firmly in his corner.

Kraft spoke with reporters after Brady’s official decision was announced late Tuesday afternoon. Of course, he told NFL Media’s Judy Battista that he hopes his quarterback is able to win the appeal and the situation will go away once and for all.

“We’ve been behind him. The whole thing has been mishandled in my opinion,” Kraft said at the Spring League Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina. “It’s unfortunate and we hope he prevails.”

What kind of owner would Kraft be if he didn’t want his superstar and Hall of Fame quarterback to win the appeal?

Will Tom Brady’s appeal be as successful this time around? Or will he finally end up serving his four-game ban over air pressure? Let’s hope we find out sooner rather than later.
