Video: Ohio State plays ‘Proud To Be An American’ for Patriot Week workout

This is “Patriot Week” for the Ohio State football program.

Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer introduced the theme in honor of Memorial Day, so his players can come together to honor the military while learning more about the democratic system.

So far, it has seemed like an overwhelming success.

Throughout the week, the Ohio State players will be going through activities and the latest patriotic moment came prior to Wednesday’s Patriot Week workout.

When the players entered the weight room, “Proud To Be An American” began blasting in order to “get the vibe right.”

Got the right vibe for workouts going! 🇺🇸 #PatriotWeekOSU

Kudos to Urban Meyer for always finding new ways for his team to learn about more than football.
