Video: Cal 5-star WR Demetris Robertson lands awesome 63-inch box jump

Demetris Robertson is looking to make a big impact for the Cal Golden Bears going into the 2016 season, despite his college career having a pretty odd start. He didn’t let that distract him from the task at hand and he showed off his athleticism to everyone on Sunday.

The Golden Bears shared a tweet from their official strength and conditioning Twitter account of Robertson pulling off a pretty impressive 63-inch box jump, which is more than five feet if you didn’t know.

The Golden Bears lost six receivers from the 2015 season, so having a player like Demetris Robertson on their roster is certainly going to have a huge impact on them competing in the PAC-12 and getting back to a bowl game. The five-star receiver has already shown off his athleticism in the past.

The Savannah, Georgia native was a Class A state champion in the 100-meter, 200-meter and long jump competitions. Fans will get to see Robertson in action when the Golden Bears open the 2016 season on Aug. 26 when they play the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in Sydney, Australia.
