Former NFL QB Tim Tebow aids Delta passenger

Love him or hate him – there’s no denying that Tim Tebow is a great person. On a flight from Atlanta to Phoenix, a passenger suffered a medical emergency. Many people aboard the plane came to the man’s aid, one of them being the former star Florida Gators quarterback.

According to a Facebook post by one of the plane’s passengers on Sunday, Tebow prayed with the man’s family. ABC News later confirmed the validity of the post.

Per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the plane safely landed in Phoenix where paramedics provided the man with immediate care.

Delta Airlines was happy that their crew and the passengers aboard the aircraft acted as quickly as they did. Spokesman Brian Kruse expressed his gratitude for the Delta staff as well as the airline’s customers.

“We can’t say enough about the Delta professionals who care for our customers every day and we are grateful to our customers who are so often quick to extend kindness and care to one another,” Kruse said.

Tebow’s steadfast commitment to his Christian faith may have rubbed several people the wrong way in the past, but it’s clear that no one is anything but grateful for Tebow’s show of compassion on the flight.
