UFC president Dana White is set to make the trip to Cleveland, Ohio next week to show his support for presumed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at the Republican National Committee.
White is one of a handful of people who will be speaking on the second night of the convention on Trump’s behalf.
According to the New York Times, Trump’s lineup of speakers will include “Mr. White, president of the U.F.C.; Asa Hutchinson, the governor of Arkansas; Michael Mukasey, the former United States attorney general; Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, a vice-presidential possibility; Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the majority leader; Tiffany Trump; Donald Trump Jr. and Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin.”
That should be interesting.
Dana White has never been one to bite his tongue and he has been criticized multiple times for making tone-deaf comments and using inappropriate language, so we will have to see whether he is able to keep himself in check for the political crowd.
Then again, this is to show his support for Donald Trump, so anything is possible.
The Republican National Committee will take place from July 18-21.
