Video: Saquon Barkley does Saquon Barkley things in Oklahoma drill

Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is one of the best young players in the country and he should make a big impact for the Penn State Nittany Lions in the 2016 season.

During Tuesday morning’s practice, he showed exactly why he should be a big part of their offense this year.

Wide receiver coach Josh Gattis shared a video of the Nittany Lions running an Oklahoma drill Tuesday morning. Barkley took the handoff and showed off his amazing abilities to get out of trouble in the backfield and race for a touchdown.

During the 2015 season, Barkley’s true freshman year, the Penn State Nittany Lions got a huge boost from the former four-star recruit. Barkley rushed for 1,076 yards and seven touchdowns.

He looks to improve on that this year and it should be a fun year for the sophomore sensation. Penn State opens the 2016 season on Sept. 3 against Kent State.
