College coaches give opinion of Jim Harbaugh

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is an unique college football coach to say the least. Saying the least is exactly what a number of other coaches did when they were asked their opinion about the Wolverines’ head honcho.

On Thursday, ESPN released a video of 14 different college football head coaches, including Miami’s Mark Richt and Ohio State’s Urban Meyer, giving their opinions on Harbaugh.

They all didn’t seem to have much to say, but it was certainly an entertaining video to watch.

“I think the guy’s classic,” South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp said with a chuckle.

“Wow,” Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi said with a short and simple answer.

Florida head coach Jim McElwain, who felt the sting of losing to Harbaugh in the Citrus Bowl last year, was speechless and only shrugged his shoulders with a stern look on his face. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney calling Harbaugh “eccentric” is the pot calling the kettle black.

Louisville’s Bobby Petrino was pretty coy with his answer by avoiding the question with a simple “Pass.” This was similar to Gus Malzahn, who shook his head and said, “Don’t have an opinion.”

The most telling opinion of the coach, however, came from North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora. “Great for college football,” he said.

He sure is and we can only hope Jim Harbaugh’s antics continue into the 2016 college football season.
