Video: Pat Narduzzi reveals Pitt throwback uniforms

The Pittsburgh Panthers are expected to be one of the better teams in the ACC this season and many believe they could play in the conference championship game. Head coach Pat Narduzzi has done a good job re-establishing a winning attitude there and it seems they will honor the past this year.

Narduzzi took to Twitter and shared a video highlighting past players and the history of Pitt football. It was then revealed that they will wear a yellow and navy blue throwback for their Oct. 8 match-up against Georgia Tech.

Those uniforms are pretty sleek and I am sure the entire Panther nation will welcome them with open arms. It is a tribute to the players, like Dan Marino and Tony Dorsett, that once donned those jerseys in the heyday of the program, when they won the 1976 national championship.

It should be a fun time for the Panthers when they take the field against the Yellow Jackets in a completely new look on Oct. 8.
