West Virginia lands commitment from 2018 PG Jordan McCabe

The West Virginia Mountaineers have been one of the more prominent teams in college basketball over the last decade or so and it looks like their success will continue into the future. On Wednesday, the program landed a big time player in Class of 2018 point guard Jordan McCabe.

McCabe, who has gotten a lot of his fame from highlight videos on YouTube, took to Twitter to announce his commitment to the Mountaineers.

It certainly seems like he will be a big piece for the team going into the future.

McCabe is a three-star recruit from Kaukauna, Wisconsin and West Virginia was easily his most prominent team pursuing him. He chose Bob Huggins’ club over DePaul, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Minnesota and Missouri.

In his sophomore season, he led his team to a state title by averaging 25 points, 6.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game.
