Goldberg: ‘Wheels in motion’ for WWE return

Bill Goldberg, better known simply as Goldberg in the professional wrestling world, has not competed in match since the dud of a main event against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania XX in 2004. However, there are more and more signs pointing towards him making a return to WWE.

Earlier this year, he signed a deal to appear in the newest version of the WWE video game “WWE 2K17,” in which he will be a pre-order bonus. This made everyone believe that the near 50-year-old wrestler would be making a return to the ring, if only in just a one-off appearance.

He seemed to confirm that when he spoke with TMZ Sports and said that he is ready to put his differences with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who Goldberg didn’t have a good opinion of when he left the company 12 years ago, to the side.

There have been rumors that Goldberg will return to back up Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and face off against Lesnar in a Wrestlemania rematch, but that remains to be seen at this point.

Whatever happens, it is going to be exciting to hear Goldberg look into the hard camera and ask “Who’s Next?!?”
