Big 12 football power rankings: Week 1

Last year, the Oklahoma Sooners made the College Football Playoff after a hard-fought season and it looks like the Big 12 will be well-represented again in 2016.

It will be interesting to see what happens with these premier teams can do this year.

From the Texas Tech Red Raiders’ top-ranked offense to Baker Mayfield leading the Sooners as a 2016 Heisman Trophy candidate, it will be a fun 2016 season. The first week of the college football season officially kicks off this week and it is a loaded week of action.

Will this conference be represented in the CFP once again? Here are the top five teams in the Big 12 for Week 1 of the 2016 season.
