LSU’s Les Miles will make players who do ‘Lambeau Leap’ hitchhike home

Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that LSU and Wisconsin players likely would be penalized for performing the famed “Lambeau Leap” at Lambeau Field this Saturday. It looks like the Tigers have extra incentive not to perform the act during the game.

Head coach Les Miles told reporters on Wednesday that he does not want to give up the 15 yards because of his players being selfish. He said they would be hitchhiking back to Baton Rouge if they decide to do the “Leap.”

Despite this warning, whether Miles was serious or being his jovial self, cornerback and punt returner Tre’Davious White is ready to take the risk. He said it is a dream of his to do the “Lambeau Leap” and that he will take the punishment if he gets the chance to do so.

I’m pretty much just open to whatever punishment that’s going to come my way Monday,” White told reporters, according to Edward Aschoff of ESPN. “It’s going to be bad, but I feel like, it’s just a dream of mine. Whatever Coach Miles has in store, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be some bad things. I’m ready to do it. It’s my last year. I want to make some memorable moments.”

White may want to rethink that, especially if Miles is really serious about punishing players. However, you can’t blame him for wanting live out his dream in the most famous football stadium in the NFL.

The Tigers and Badgers meet up on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
