The Iowa Hawkeyes have their toughest game of the year to date when they host five-time defending FCS national champions and top-ranked team North Dakota State on Saturday.
It looks like at least one Bison fan decided to troll the Hawkeyes on his way to Iowa City.
The fan placed a North Dakota State flag on the Iowa state line sign. Luckily for the Hawkeyes, one fan saw the flag and snatched it down and then explained why he did so.
It's cool everybody. I took care of it. Thanks for the assist @Annieclam @You_had_1_Job_ pic.twitter.com/u6Becyh8KO

Honestly if those flags were attached to anything else I would have just driven by. But they were on the Iowa sign. That I could not abide.

Also, if you are the NDSU fan that put those up, well played. If you want them back, they are yours. Otherwise I have a new trophy.

At least he is sticking up for his team and his state. It only shows why the Hawkeyes have one of the best fan bases in the country.
I am sure the Bison will be out in full force against the Hawkeyes today, but the Hawkeye faithful will be ready to combat them. The two teams take the field at 12 noon EST on ESPN2.
