UTEP basketball has some new uniforms… and they’re absolutely fire.
Well, they’re better than these un-inspired threads at the very least.
This is the first time in two seasons that UTEP has revealed a new set of uniforms, which is pretty recently if you compare that to any other college basketball program.
Blue is somewhat of a fresh take for a UTEP team that’s usually worn orange, white and the occasional black on the court.
The new-look jerseys start off with a navy blue that borders on black, smoothly transitioning into a royal blue by the time we reach the bottom hem of the shorts, which feature a pick axe on their left sides.
The fun didn’t stop there, however.
UTEP also dropped two other sets of uniforms that were less shocking, but still welcome upgrades to the relatively mundane looks its men’s basketball team has been sporting the past couple years.
You can never go wrong with the monochromatic look.
UTEP gets its season under way Oct. 30 against Southeastern Oklahoma State.
