Words cannot describe the final moments of Saturday’s top 25 SEC clash between the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers and No. 25 Georgia Bulldogs.
With 12 seconds left in the game, Georgia freshman quarterback Jacob Eason seemed to clinch the game for the Bulldogs with a 47-yard touchdown pass to give his team a 31-28 lead. Lazy coverage from the Vols allowed the Bulldogs to get in the endzone.
Georgia received a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after the score which proved to be crucial.
After an impressive return, the Vols had great field position.
With only four seconds left, Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs lobbed the ball into the endzone to find sophomore wide receiver Jauan Jennings for the 43-yard score as time expired. It was a remarkable finish.
